PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A Qatari/American joint venture that teams up the local QATAR PETROLEUM CO. (QPC) and US-based EXXON MOBIL CORP. recently awarded a construction contract for planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants to a Japanese/French joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include CHIYODA CORP. of Japan and TECHNIP of France.
