WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (AScribe Newswire) -- How hard will record gas prices hit drivers' wallets? It depends on where they live, according to a new online calculator developed by researchers at Environmental Working Group (EWG) that draws on the latest federal data.
The EWG analysis calculates how much more the average driver in the 50 largest metro areas will spend on gasoline based on different levels of price increase, the average miles driven each year in that city, and the average gas mileage of cars and light trucks. <
