Aug. 21--HARLINGEN, Texas--Fred Kalber said he noticed that the price of gasoline went up.
"It was cheaper yesterday," said the 93-year-old Harlingen resident after pumping gas at an H-E-B filling station Wednesday. "But I am buying it today."
Regular unleaded sold Wednesday for an average of $1.55 per gallon, up 6 cents from Tuesday's rate.
A week ago, it sold for $1.38 per gallon.
