Schneider Electric today announced that Dr. Jarrett Campbell has joined its Microelectronics Engineering Services team as market application development manager.

In addition to holding 17 U.S. patents associated with multiple areas of semiconductor manufacturing. Dr. Campbell has collaborated on and published extensively on advanced process control solutions and techniques. His work has appeared in the pages of Solid State Technology and Semiconductor International, two of the industry's leading trade publications, as well as at various industry symposiums, including the American Control Conference, SPIE Advanced Microelectronics Manufacturing, SEMATECH AEC/APC Symposium and the AEC/APC Europe Symposium.
Topics have included run-to-run control applied to photolithography, etch, chemical mechanical planarization, and deposition processes. In addition, Dr. Campbell's work has focused on the challenges of implementing advanced process control solutions in high-volume and high-product mix manufacturing environments.
Dr. Campbell earned a Ph.D. and M.S.E. in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His work experience includes positions as a member of the technical staff at Advanced Micro Devices, advanced process control engineering manager at KLA-Tencor, and most recently, product marketing manager at Yield Dynamics.
