Jul. 11--At Lydall Inc. in Manchester, an industrial company out of the limelight in recent years, a sea change in corporate leadership may be showing its face.

The Lydall CEO has been replaced by a board member, which is common enough. But in this case, the former head of the company remains in his former job as the No. 2 executive, apparently willingly and with justified optimism.
