Motorola Energy System Group Headquarters in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, Jul 15, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- Motorola announced the opening ofits Energy Systems Group (ESG) Asia Pacific management centre inShanghai on July 10 -- a move that reaffirms the American mobiletelecom giant's solid future in China.

The move brings the company closer to its goal of investing US$10billion and accumulating US$10 billion in purchasing orders inChina by the end of 2006.
