Compaq has finalized its acquisition of Digital and now plans to integrate that company's products under the Compaq label. The company's strategy includes Windows NT, the Alpha processor and Digital's Digital Unix and Open VMS operating systems.

Compaq's acquisition of Digital may be done, but a mammoth integration program remains.
