Based on the latest Intel(R) Pentium(R) III processor technology, the server eclipse all leading 2-way servers in its price category with superior storage capacity, network bandwidth, I/O capacity and server management capability. With the Express5800/120Lf, NEC Computers also unveils new, rapid build-to-order capabilities that provide significant benefits to end-users and resellers.

Management and High-Availability Features

Every Express5800/120Lf server includes a complete suite of configuration and management software, including NEC ExpressBuilder, NEC ESMPRO(R) Management Suite, and the MWA Management Workstation Application for remote management. No additional hardware options or add-in cards are required.

NEC server management software enables system administrators to continuously monitor, analyze, and manage client/server information and operation remotely throughout the network via LAN or WAN. The ESMPRO Management Suite software facilitates quick response to critical issues and provides tools for proactive planning and server administration, which helps to reduce the risk of system downtime or failure.
