NUR Advanced Technologies Ltd. signs majordistribution agreement with Marbaugh in NorthAmerica.

TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 1997--NUR Advanced Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ/NMS:NURTF) today announced that it has recently signed a distribution agreement with Marbaugh Color Systems Group of Indianapolis, whereby Marbaugh will distribute exclusively NUR's products in North America,

Ehud Sarig, NUR's Chief Executive Officer, commented, "This new agreement is in line with NUR's new policy of engaging regional distributors for its products in mainland North and South America. The policy strengthens the connection between the developer/manufacturer and the sales force. At the same time, this policy will enable NUR to substantially increase its margins on the sale of its printers and should help increase the margins of NUR's regional distributors."

Marbaugh had been involved in distributing NUR's products since 1996 as a dealer of Scitex Corporation, which had been the distributor of NUR's products until the end of last year.

Mr. Sarig added, "Marbaugh's prior experience both in the field of wide-format printing and with NUR's products will ensure a smooth transition and continuity in NUR's marketing and sales efforts in North America. Furthermore, the fact that NUR is about to launch one of its new and most advanced products should enable Marbaugh to substantially increase its sales of NUR's products."
