May 8--US networking giant Cisco has developed a technology to enable organisations across the world to track staff by tagging them with tiny radio-frequency identification (RFID) chips.

Cisco has developed a device that can use the wireless internet connections now becoming standard in offices across the world to track not only employees but also devices such as laptop computers and mobile phones.
