LX 800 INK JET PRINTERS from Primera Technology, Inc. are said to be capable of printing full-color labels with any combination of bar codes, text, graphics, logos and photos at 4,800 X 1,200 dpi. According to the company, label and tag sizes range from as small as 1.5- X 0.75-in to 8.25- by 24-in. Substrates can include matte-finish labels as well as semi-gloss and high-gloss materials.
