Primera introduces Signature Z6 CD/DVD printer.(industry news)

Primera has taken the next step toward more photo-realistic CD and DVD printing with the release of the Signature Z6 OD/DVD printer, announced in early June. Key among the printer's features are:

* Six color printing

* 4800dpi print resolution

* 20% faster printing than its predecessor

* A new price of $1495

By adding light cyan and light magenta to CMYK, printed photos look more natural, Primera says. The Signature Z6 includes Primera's PrimaColor and new Z-Color Color Matching Systems for control over the colors that users
