CTM chooses Ericsson for 3G network.(WIRELESS)(Companhia de Telecomunicacoes de Macau S.A.R.L.)

Companhia de Telecomunicacoes de Macau S.A.R.L. (CTM) has chosen Ericsson to supply its 3G/WCDMA/HSPA network. With 3G from CTM, users will be able to enjoy up to 14.4Mbps, high-bandwidth mobile broadband, and multimedia services in Macau.

Under the agreement, Ericsson will be the sole supplier of CTM's 3G network, delivering and deploying the packet core, mobile softswitch, and radio access network, as well as related network rollout services.

Phil Green, CEO of CTM, said, "We are committed to providing the best telecommunications service to our customers.
