Telexpo 2000

SAO PAULO, Brazil--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2000

Spectrian Corporation (Nasdaq:SPCT), a leader in the design and manufacture of power amplifiers for wireless base stations, will present a live demonstration of its MCPS PowerStack(TM) multicarrier amplifier products at Telexpo '00, March 28-31, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Combining efforts with Brazilian representative RF COM, Spectrian will exhibit for the first time at Telexpo. Two multicarrier power amplifiers, designed for micro- through macrocell applications will be showcased at this event, including a live demonstration of the MCPS 2100, a 100 watt unit with live traffic and 20 digital radios. The second amplifier, the MCPS 2350, generates 350 watts of digital or analog power by combining four 100 watt units in a 23 x 14 x 18-inch (547 x 354 x 450mm) shelf. Both amplifiers are an example of Spectrian's intelligent platform design, which offer the benefits of being modular, compact and configurable.
