Companies Extend Agreement to Continue Developing and Enhancing

Vodafone Australia's Leading Mobile Internet Service

InfoSpace, Inc. (Nasdaq:INSP), a

provider of wireless and Internet software and application services, and Vodafone Australia, a major provider of mobile telecommunications services, today announced that the companies have signed an extended agreement, demonstrating a renewed commitment to continue working together to deliver cutting edge mobile Internet services to Vodafone Australia's customers.

Since the launch of InfoSpace-powered services by Vodafone Australia in April of 2000, the company's "My Vodafone" service has quickly become one of Australia's most innovative mobile Internet offerings. The two companies have worked closely to deploy a wide range of cutting edge services under the Vodafone brand including two-way interactive SMS, Vodafone's "MyNearest" service -- the first true location-based WAP service in Australia and among the first anywhere in the world -- and many other innovative services. In July 2001, "My Nearest" was recognized by MIS Australia, one of Australia's leading information technology journals, with the prestigious Innovation Award in the Telecommunications category.

"Our relationship with InfoSpace has helped us to deploy and continually enhance the My Vodafone wireless Internet service," said Grahame Maher, chief operating officer, Vodafone Australia. "The service differentiates us in the marketplace and has established us as a leading provider of mobile data services. InfoSpace has demonstrated its commitment to working closely with us as we continue to define and enhance our unique service offering and we look forward to continuing our relationship as we roll out more sophisticated, more advanced services to our customers."

"The success of Vodafone Australia's wireless services is a testament to the power and flexibility of the InfoSpace platform as well as the innovation behind our suite of wireless applications," said InfoSpace chairman and chief executive officer, Naveen Jain. "Our platform is helping Vodafone Australia to provide its customers with advanced services that help the company drive usage and establish stronger and more long lasting customer relationships."
