Verizon introduces Motorola's MOTO Z6c.

The MOTO Z6c world edition slider handset from wireless and broadband communications company Motorola Inc (NYSE:MOT) has been introduced exclusively in the US by Verizon Wireless (Verizon), a US wireless network provider, available

online now and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores from 12 December 2007.

The Z6c offers a 2.0 megapixel camera, 2" QVGA display, supports up to 4GB of optional removable memory and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and features a high-gloss front and soft-touch back. It is supported on Verizon's CDMA network while the user is in the US and in 22+ countries using CDMA technology; with connectivity provided through Verizon's global roaming partners for customers travelling within the GSM network coverage area outside of the US.

The handset incorporates the ability to access Verizon's V CAST Video multimedia service with news, sports and entertainment video clips and 3D games and V CAST Music, providing access to over 2.4m songs for over-the-air download.

The MOTO Z6c is available through Verizon for USD179.99 following a USD50 rebate, with a new two year customer agreement. Customers must add global service to their calling plan for use outside of the US, with international calls charged at USD1.29 or USD2.49 per minute for calls in over 180 countries, and international text messages charged at USD0.25 per message.
