NEPCON West, Assembly West and Fiberoptic Automation Expo, three co-located manufacturing tradeshows in Silicon Valley, mirrored an industry convergence between electronic manufacturing, final product assembly and fiberoptics.

Engineers are broadening their knowledge in all aspects of product assembly in order to remain competitive, and nowhere was this more apparent than at the three-day event, Dec. 4-6, 2002, in the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.
