St.Petersburg, Russia, April 28. In 1996 Russia produced
310,000 TV sets. Colored TVs shared one third of the figure. About
30% of TV sets were manufactured under licenses of foreign
companies. For the last 6 years TV set production had reduced by
15 times. In two years TV set import increased by 20
times. Last year foreign-made sets shared 90-94% of the market. TV
