BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbH is one of the world's largest manufacturers of household appliances. Of the company's holdings, 50% are held by Robert Bosch GmbH, and the other 50% by Siemens AG. The company's Dillingen, Germany plant, which presently employs 2400 workers, was founded in 1960, initially as a branch factory for Robert Bosch GmbH. From 1974 to 1976 a new 284,000[m.sup.2] factory was built on the site to produce dishwashers for Bosch and Siemens.
