South Texas Community College Takes Step toward Offering Bachelor's Degree.

Apr. 23--McALLEN, Texas -- South Texas Community College is one step closer to offering a bachelor's degree.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on Thursday approved STCC's request to offer a bachelor of applied technology.

"The whole goal is to provide more access to baccalaureate programs for the communities of South Texas," said Juan E. Mejia, STCC's interim vice president for instructional services.
