Established in May 1994 as the Jobs and Education Partnership, Enterprise Florida's Workforce Development program unit over sees the development and maintenance of a highly skilled workforce that can respond to rapidly changing technology and diversified employment opportunities.

In cooperation with private sector firms, universities and community colleges and technical centers, as well as regional workforce and economic development groups, the program unit works to integrate and focus the state's training and education programs and redirect resources tow
