Colleges, vendors look for those who can get lessons across
JAY GIROTTO, a second-year Harvard Business School student, has been spending more time recently as the volunteer chief technology officer for the school's "Cyberposium" than he does on most of his classes. The February two-day e-commerce confab had an extensive Web presence that required him to coordinate the efforts of six different companies--for Web design, chat, Internet access, video, and the like.
