REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1997--Multimedia Pathways announced today enhanced capabilities in the design and development of custom interactive multimedia training.
With the hiring of two additional multimedia authors and an instructional designer, Multimedia Pathways
Multimedia Author Patrick Glynn brings expertise in training development and project management to Multimedia Pathways. Previously, as an Instructional Systems Specialist, he oversaw the Department of Veterans Affairs' multimedia department and pioneered their nationwide computer-based training implementation. Glynn's degree in marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology is complemented by extensive graduate work in Vocational Technical Education.
Rob Koberg, Multimedia Author, contributes to the in-house skill set at Multimedia Pathways with his familiarity with video editing and multimedia authoring tools, as well as practical experience developing and delivering instructor-led training, as owner of Computer Training Interactions (CTI) in Rockford, Ill.
Prior to establishing CTI, Koberg worked with Gaffney Learning Station and Gaffney Technical/Professionals as a Contract Manager. At Gaffney, Koberg guided the effort to establish Gaffney as a leader in corporate computer training. Koberg has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognitive Psychology.
Instructional Designer Cindy Conaway rounds out the services offered at Multimedia Pathways with five years of experience designing courseware specifically for computer-based delivery. Conaway comes to Multimedia Pathways from Chicago, where she most recently worked as Manager of Performance Assurance at Ameritech, designing and producing various types of training and performance support materials for the telecommunications industry.
Before that, she was an Instructional Designer and Producer at Icon Interactive, in Westchester, Ill., and an intern at Andersen Consulting in Chicago. Conaway has a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Instructional Design from Florida State University.
Based in Redwood City, Multimedia Pathways designs and develops custom interactive multimedia software for an international client base. In the telecommunications industry, Multimedia Pathways partners with clients such as Centigram Communications, Siemens Business Communications and Aspect Telecommunications to produce highly effective employee training and customer education software.
In addition, Multimedia Pathways works with Stanford University, NASA-Ames Research Center, Charles Schwab, PeopleSoft and Levi Strauss & Co. to produce custom training solutions. Projects typically incorporate complex simulation and interaction and cover a wide range of technical and non-technical subject matter.
