Distance education brings down barriers

I envision an evolution, even a revolution, in the educating of our children and ourselves. The cultural changes on the horizon cut to the very core of the institutions that make up our public educational system. My thoughts:

* Small rural schools will ascend the ladder of quality and competitiveness.

* Student populations will shift into rural districts from the larger towns.

* Home schooling will continue to grow in popularity and quality.

* Distance education will breach the barrier
