Industrial laser shipments down. (Industry News).(Brief Article)

Shipments of industrial lasers and systems for third quarter 2002, at $96.1 million, were down 8 percent from year earlier levels, according to the Laser Systems Product Group of the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), McLean, VA. Industrial laser equipment and systems shipments within North, America by the 45 companies participating in the LSPG statistical rerport totaled $69.5 million, while exports amounted to $26.6 million.
