UK public sector statistics to be rewritten once more.

May 22--Britain's recent history will once again be rewritten on Tuesday when the Office for National Statistics (ONS) unveils fresh estimates for the performance of the public services over the past few years.

The controversial shake-up will lead to changes in the official output of health, education, social services, public administration and public safety sectors, including the fire services. These will feed in to revised overall gross domestic product (GDP) figures later this year.
