Honda Aircraft Co., a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., will expand its Greensboro, N.C., operations and build its new HondaJet at Piedmont Triad International Airport. The project calls for an investment of up to $100 million and will create 283 jobs during the next five years.
The state's Economic Investment Committee voted to award a Job Development Investment Grant. For each year the company meets required performance targets, the state will provide a grant equivalent to 75 percent of the state personal income withholding taxes derived from the creation of new jobs
