Riverside, Calif.-Area Manufacturing Index Shows Decline in June.

Jul. 2--The pace of manufacturing slowed in Inland Southern California in June, but there was an optimistic tone to the report released Tuesday.

The Purchasing Managers Index for Riverside and San Bernardino counties declined to 49.8 last month, down from a 12-month high of 54.2 in May, according to a report by the Institute of Applied Research and Policy Analysis at Cal State San Bernardino. The region's PMI had been above the 50 mark in May and April.
