Dow Jones Industrial Average Gives Back Most of Day-Earlier Gain.

Jan. 28--The Dow Jones industrial average gave back more than two-thirds of its day-earlier gain when all but five of the index's 30 stocks declined, three of them on disappointing financial reports.
