Housing Market Takes a Step Back in San Bernardino County, Calif.

Feb. 19--The median price of new and existing homes in San Bernardino County took an anticipated dip in prices last month from the record set in December.

Nevertheless, the $205,000 median set in January was 17.8 percent above the $174,000 price set in January 2003, DataQuick Information Systems reported Wednesday.

In December, the median price for San Bernardino County homes was a record $215,000.
