Yep, I got my breaking news report today that informed me the government has declared we are in a recession that began in December 2007. A year ago. Can you believe how long it took for them to figure it out? Amazing.
The good news is that you knew this a long time ago and have already responded to market conditions. You either:
1. Went out of business.
2. Decided your business was going to survive and have taken action to make that happen.
So if you're still in business, you took a look at the top 20% of your sales and found a way to increase them. Or you examined your expenses with a magnifying glass and found tons of places to cut. Or maybe you optimized the way you do business so you're doing more with less.
Whatever you did, good for you. Keep it up. Refuse to participate in the way the economy is behaving. Find opportunity where others only see gloom.
And take a few minutes to tell me about what you have done by leaving a comment.
So I'm with you that they/us were afraid to actually address the problem. Now it is drastic measures time.
I think to survive the future marketplace you have to be diversified, especially in information technologies.
