Cable-Television Hikes Outrun Inflation in North Carolina, Nation.

Jul. 10--Locally and throughout the United States, cable television rates have increased faster than the rate of inflation for at least the last five years.

That's according to a report released this week by the Federal Communications Commission and numbers provided by Time Warner Cable, the primary service provider for the Triad. The communications giant counts the Greensboro regional division as ninth on its list of top-10 service areas.
