Apr. 23--PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- Nearly 100 ship repairers turned out for a Navy briefing Thursday about a $205.6 million contract for work on a group of amphibious assault ships. It was a higher-than-expected turnout, especially since only one yard will win it.
