Carbon fiber fuselage made for Boeing Dreamliner.(GLOBAL ECONOMY)(Brief article)

Alenia Aeronautica of Italy, a Finmeccanica company, has delivered the first carbon fiber fuselage sections of the 787 Dreamliner, manufactured at its Grottaglie plant. The two fuselage sections include the central segment Number 44 (8.5 meters long); and the central-rear segment Number 46 (about 10 meters long). They have been loaded on the Boeing Dreamlifter to be transferred to the facility of Global Aeronautica in Charleston, South Carolina.
