HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Global Military Aircraft Systems (GMAS), a joint venture of L-3 Integrated Systems (L-3/IS), a subsidiary of L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL), and Finmeccanica's Alenia North America hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and luncheon today to officially open its C-27J Spartan aircraft

GMAS is offering the C-27J Spartan as a fully compliant solution for the U.S. Army's Future Cargo Aircraft (FCA) program. The GMAS office, located near the Redstone Arsenal, serves as the organization's focal point for all Army Aviation programs. The close proximity ensures customer responsiveness and immediate access to deliver superior service and meet the needs of Army Aviation.
