The GMAS team will explain to media why the C-27J aircraft is the only solution for future military cargo transport needs. The briefing will take place on Tuesday, June 14 at the Finmeccanica Chalet
Global Military Aircraft Systems (GMAS) is a joint venture between Alenia North America, Inc. (a Finmeccanica company), and L-3 Communications' (NYSE:LLL) Integrated Systems subsidiary. The C-27J military transport aircraft is a leading contender for the U.S. Army's Future Cargo Aircraft (FCA) program.
The press briefing will include Bob Drewes, President of L-3 Integrated Systems, and Guiseppe Giordo, President and CEO of Alenia North America, Inc.
The plane will also be available for viewing on the tarmac outside the chalet throughout the show.
