Mr. Moran will serve as a senior manager and will be located in the firm's New York City offices.

Neil Moran, 53, joins BDO from a national investigative firm concentrating on investigations for law firms and major insurance carriers involving product liability, mortgage and bank fraud, bond claims and employee misconduct. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Moran spent 29 years with the FBI. During this time he managed a unit that supported the investigation of white-collar crime, organized crime, insurance fraud and other activities in New York and the Northeast United States. Mr. Moran assisted Federal prosecutors with trial presentation and jury selection in proceedings resulting from complex and lengthy investigations. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Niagara University.
