CHICAGO -- New Additions, Including Network Security Investigations Experts, Continue Expansion of Significant National eDiscovery Capabilities

Navigant Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:NCI), today announced that four senior professionals, including internationally-known information technology investigations and computer forensics expert Erik Laykin, have joined the Company's national Discovery Services practice. The new additions in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco add formidable expertise to the Company's service offerings in the areas of computer forensics, information technology investigations, eDiscovery services and Corporate ePrevention(TM), which incorporates information management compliance for regulatory purposes.

These recent additions to Navigant Consulting's Discovery Services practice further strengthen the Company's expertise in all aspects of the management of electronic data, including discovery, computer forensics, e-retention and network security issues. The Discovery Services practice assists corporations in finding solutions for the preservation and retention of electronic and hard copy documents, including assisting law firms, corporate legal departments and other corporate officers in responding to electronic data inquiries where time is critical to locating, reviewing and producing millions of electronic documents.

For the past 10 years, computer forensics expert Erik Laykin has worked on many of the most high-profile and most confidential cases and investigations around the world. In the mid 1990s, Laykin broke new ground in the emerging discipline of high technology investigations and computer forensics. Today, he is an accredited specialist in the reactive investigation and analysis of digital theft, cyber-terrorism, trademark infringement, online piracy, cyber squatting, information technology disputes and corporate espionage.

Laykin, based in the Company's Los Angeles office, is responsible for expanding and directing a national information technology investigations team for the Discovery Services practice. Prior to joining Navigant Consulting, Laykin was the Founder and President of OnlineSecurity, Inc.

Regan Adams joins as a Director in the Company's New York office. Adams was previously an attorney for a major bank in New York and has six years of corporate regulatory and litigation experience. She is also a former prosecutor, compliance officer and senior financial services marketing officer. Her experience includes SEC, regulatory and internal investigations, compliance/litigation reviews, and corporate securities litigation, with an additional expertise in legal, compliance, technology-driven data retention issues and the development of electronic policies and procedures.

Richard Finkelman joins as a Director in the Company's Los Angeles region. In his role as Director of Corporate Technology Solutions, Finkelman will leverage his extensive background in Information Technology to develop proactive, in-house solutions to manage electronic data from preservation and retention through discovery and trial. Previously, Finkelman was CEO of Ceira Technologies Inc.

Kris Haworth joins as a Director in the Company's San Francisco office. Haworth was previously a Senior Manager with Deloitte, where she managed the West Coast Computer Forensic and Discovery Services practice. Haworth has significant eDiscovery business development, computer forensic analysis and project management experience.
