TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 1995--Corporate Vision, Inc. (NASDAQ BB: CVIA) today announced that it has purchased the CD-ROM rights and a six- month option for the motion picture rights to "The Final Jihad," a new novel about terrorism in the United States.

"This book is one of the most exciting fictional accounts of a very real possibility that we have ever read," said Sheryl D. Mabie, President and CEO of CVI. "We are exploring several opportunities to produce the novel in an interactive format. By combining story enhancing features such as music, pictures, maps, images, and an option for narration, our goal is to enhance the literary experience with a twist of technology," said Mabie.

Written by Martin Keating, brother of Oklahoma governor Frank Keating, the novel points out the frightful vulnerability of America to terrorist attacks funded and directed from abroad by ruthless professionals. What makes Keating's book ominously timely was the murderous bombing on April 19 in Oklahoma City. Completed more than two years ago, "The Final Jihad" spotlights Oklahoma as the source of a domestic outbreak of criminal mayhem.

Keating spins a tale which is not only believable, it is eerily prescient. In his first revisions in 1989, he predicted the fall of the Berlin Wall, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the World Trade Center bombing, and the airplane crash at the White House. After these events occurred, Keating was forced to rewrite his manuscript. Even so, numerous coincidences remain, including an alert Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper who stops a suspicious vehicle and unwittingly makes a discovery which is the first break in the biggest terrorist undertaking in the United States. Among several other parallels, there is a character named "Tom McVey."

The acquisition of "The Final Jihad" marks the beginning of CVI's Entertainment Division, which will focus primarily on acquiring books and other intellectual property, such as music, image, and video libraries, that can be converted to interactive CD and distributed to the consumer market.
