Arkansas House panel approves lower DWI.(Brief Article)

Associated Press -- An Arkansas House panel Thursday approved a bill that would lower the legal threshold for drunken driving in Arkansas and could make police accountable if the drunken driving charges they file are wrong. Under the measure, offered by Rep. Sandra Rodgers, D-Hope, a driver would be considered drunk if his blood-alcohol content was .08 percent or higher. The limit now is .10.
