Bride of Frankenstein (1935): A mad scientist finds Dr. Frankenstein and the monster (Boris Karloff), forcing Dr. Frankenstein to help him create a female companion for the monster.

RAISING CAIN / HALLOWEEN II

Raising Cain (1992): Starring John Lithgow, the infamous thriller features Jenny Nix, wife of eminent child psychologist Carter Nix. Local kidnappings force Jenny to investigate the possibility that Carter may be trying to recreate mind-control experiments on children.

Halloween II (1981): Just when you thought it was safe to go trick-or-treating...Halloween II once again stars Jamie Lee Curtis as the heroine while Michael Myers' indestructibility resumes with a continuation of murder sprees despite being gunned down with six bullets in the original film.

THE MUMMY / THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON

The Mummy (1932): Starring Boris Karloff, The Mummy features a field expedition in Egypt that discovers the mummy of ancient prince Im-Ho-Tep, who was condemned and buried alive for sacrilege. Also found in the tomb is the Scroll of Thoth, which can bring the dead back to life.
