King Harald V of Norway temporarily exchanged his crown for a baseball cap as he met with representatives of Deutsche See, Germany's biggest supplier of fish and seafood, at the Berlin wholesale market. The king (right) was on a state visit, and, after talks with

President Horst Kohler and Chancellor Angela Merkel, visited Deutsche See to symbolize the bonds between two important fishing countries. He was shown through the cold storage warehouse by the company's director, Dr. Peter Dill (left). As part of the visit, the royal party got a seafood and fish feast prepared by five of Berlin's top chefs. The menu included petit fours of king crab from Franz Raneburger, and Norway lobster on pineapple-paprika chutney with Tahiti vanilla from Thomas Kammeier. The Berlin location is one of 23 from which the Bremerhaven-based Deutsche See services more than 35,000 retail and foodservice customers with its frozen and non-frozen products.
