Sports Fans Abound in Texas' Rio Grande Valley.

Jun. 9--EDINBURG, Texas--John Mozingo hasn't missed an evening Edinburg Roadrunners game since country superstar George Strait came to town in 2001 and put on a concert the same night as a home game.

When the Roadrunners are out of town, he will catch a WhiteWings game.

"I just like everything about it," he said.

Mozingo said that like many local fans, he spends "way too much" on beer, peanuts, water and soft drinks at the games.
