The Trane Company has chosen Click Interactive, Inc. to develop and implement an extranet solution that will help serve its independent distributors, dealers, and contractor customers. Click Interactive, Inc. is a Chicago-based developer of Click Commerce(TM), a business-to-business ecommerce extranet solution.

The Click Interactive extranet will help Trane enhance and streamline its order fulfillment, after-sales support, and product change and development processes. Using the extranet system, Trane independent dealers and contractors will have real-time access to order management and shipping status, helping them better respond to customer needs.

With the Click Commerce solution, contractors will be able to log onto the Trane extranet via the Internet and select and price products and enter orders. In addition, dealers will be able to use the extranet to determine ordershipping status throughout the process of fulfillment from Trane through its distributors.
