I was the new, young lead mechanical designer for a small stand-alone bank-branch building located in the corner of a large shopping-mall parking lot in a semi-rural open area. Electricity was the nearest energy source to the building site, but a natural-gas service was located across on the other side of a busy four-lane arterial road.
