STIHL Incorporated has entered into an agreement with LawnGrips, LLC to make available to the nationwide network of independent STIHL dealers three models of lawn-care footwear that will feature both the STIHL and LawnGrips logos. Specifically designed with landscape professionals in mind, each

of the three styles--the Classic slip-on model with hook and loop closure; the Pro, with six-inch lace-up, and the Pro8 work boot with eight-inch lace-up--is made with a steel toe encased in rugged molded rubber. The shoes are available in whole and half sizes 7 through 11 1/2, plus 12 and 13. All LawnGrips footwear features the patented GripN-Go outsole for traction on freshly cut grass. The tread pattern of the outsole has specialized, oblique cleats positioned in the forefoot and heel areas for great traction for pushing, turning and stopping. The lugs and centers of the heel and forefoot are slightly rounded to easily shed grass clippings and dirt. Additional features include a composite insole board with polyurethane midsole for comfort and support, water- and stain-resistant leather.
