The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) has published Position Statements 10, 11 and 12 in a series of 12 papers of interest to concrete contractors.

"Moisture-Sensitive Floor Coverings on Concrete Slabs" (#10) offers recommendations for dealing with problems inherent with these installations. "Appearance Requirements for Concrete Slabs" (#11) deals with meeting surface appearance expectations.

"Responsibility for Buying Concrete" (#12) concludes that concrete contractors can be solely responsible for meeting project specifications only when they purchase the concrete.

Copies of Position Statements 10, 11 and 12 may be ordered by calling the ASCC at (866) 788-2722 or by e-mail at ascc@ascconline.org . The papers are also available in PDF format at the ASCC website at www.ascconline.org .
