DES PLAINES, IL - THE Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) will hold its 2005 Annual Conference at the Omni hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta Sept. 27-Oct. 1. Highlights of this year's conference include several educational sessions, including one titled "Electric Motors Commonly Found in HVAC/R
Led by Dennis Bush of the A.O. Smith Electrical Products Company, this educational session will cover motor types and their characteristics, crossreferences, and replacement tips and troubleshooting.
In addition to educational sessions, conference attendees can take Certificate Member (CM), Certificate Member Specialist (CMS), EPA Refrigerant Usage Certification (CFC), North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification, and National Technician Certification (NTC) exams during the RSES Annual Conference.
Conference registration fees are $325 for RSES members and $375 for nonmembers before Sept. 1,2005. Fees will be $350 and $400, respectively, thereafter. Students who have a current identification card from either a two- or four-year school can attend the entire educational program for $100 if registration fees are received before Sept. 1,2005, $125 after Sept. 1,2005, or $30 per day.
