Dr. Ronald S. Foster, retired professor of finance, The Ohio State University, received a Distinguished Service Award from the Former Presidents' Committee during the annual fall conference of Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI).

The award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the advancement of distribution in the HVACR industry in particularly extraordinary ways and over an extended period of time during their career. These contributions must be enormously beneficial to all participants in the channel.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Foster brought a missionary's zeal to winning independent wholesalers over to the side of using solid financial information to more successfully run their businesses. As the times and competition have changed, these custom distributor tools continue to prove invaluable to distributors in the U.S. and Canada.
