HEADNOTECustomers left out in the cold as a result of Octagon's bankruptcy now have access to replacement
One of the worst nightmares of any manager is that the manufacturer of a piece of equipment central to his operation will go out of business, making replacement parts difficult to acquire, warranties void, and repairs all but impossible. Octagon specialized in roof-mounted HVAC systems. Much of the more than $100 million in equipment Octagon sold was installed in supermarkets, schools, commercial buildings, and factories. With Octagon no longer in business, owners were left with relatively new equipment, but no easy way to solve maintenance and service problems.
